Mini Assignment #3 – Orthographic Projection

I wasn’t sure what to use for my object because everything I looked at seemed to be too complicated or rounded, so I used a tissue box because it has clear distinct sides that could be easily measured and replicated for the orthographic projection. I didn’t find this assignment too challenging, partly because I’ve done technical drawings similar to this before, and because I chose an object that was simply a rectangular prism. Overall, I’m happy with how it came out because it is executed neatly and accurately. I’m especially pleased with the photograph orthographic projection because it looks like a mini tissue box and mini versions of things are instantly cuter. However, it was difficult making the photos proportional because I had to make sure the camera stayed at the same angle and distance for each side.
