This week I created the structure for the top of my canopy tent using rope, wire, and a hula hoop. I also installed the hook on my ceiling and tested to make sure it could bear enough weight. I attached the canvas that will line the tent to outer fabric along the top edge. I did this with eyelets and hand sewing with yarn. I figured out the dimensions for the top piece of fabric and continued making patches. Now whats left- I have to attach the patches to the canvas and sew down the sides of the outer fabric, hang the wall from the hoop using yarn through the eyelets, attach the top fabric to the structure, and hang it up from my ceiling.
