The goal of this project was to create an intimate, immersive space that acts as a “sanctuary.” I wanted it to feel cozy, safe, and isolated from the rest of my environment in order to encourage self reflection, meditation, creativity, and healing. I made this tent feel playful in its aesthetics and conceptually intuitive to allow me to connect with my inner child through the space. The pieces inside were made without planning and were a cathartic way of processing my feelings through making. The works consist of screenprints, monoprints, patchwork, embroidery, and darkroom photography. Everything is hand sewn
