3D Sketch Model
From redesigning a sharpie I learned how difficult it to improve an object than for multiple years people have perfected. On the other hand, it also shows how designers don’t try to better something that can be improved in the context of making it more sustainable. In the next design, I would think about how technology could help my design. On this project, I focused a lot on how different materials would affect the form, yet I didn’t notice how technology could be featured on a pen. Besides technology, I would also like to focus on how attractive can my design be for the public and make it a “must-have” rather than a “want”.
