These are me and my partner, Abel’s curated selections of 100 drawings.
Abel had an idea that I should pick drawings that show romantic feelings.
I advise Abel to select drawings that have though, rebellious feelings.
These are the pictures that show our process for the project.
We scraped lots of distinctive images from our drawings, and collaged it on the garments.
<Final Reflection on project, collaboration, and research>
When we first heard about the project, Abel thought it would be a good idea to make a dress for our character. Our imaginative character, Kyung-Hee, moved to states from Korea, so I said we can design two dresses that reveal her both past and future. I bought two white dresses from Forever 21, and brought to class so we can start working. We shared some of our drawings from bridge 1 project to collage it on our dresses. For our presentation, we decided to introduce our character not only through dresses, but an article as well. I wrote the content (interview) for the article, and Abel designed the format. It was very interesting collaboration. Since I am not that familiar with photoshop techniques, my partner had to design most of the format when making an article. I should learn important photoshop skills to create visual work for my future project. Overall, I am very satisfied with the outcome. Especially because we dedicated our time and effort on this for past four weeks.
