The trip to the Fit Museum was a fulfilling and engaging experience. As someone who is not particularly familiar with fashion as an art form, it made me think a lot about how costume can communicate character. In particular I took a liking to the two outfits attached to this post. the outfits are completely different in design and theme, and the one presented on the female figure is incredibly intricate in comparison to the simplistic outfit on the male figure. Yet, they both communicate elegance in an aesthetically pleasing way.
