For this response, I decided to focus on Rasmussen’s idea of scale and proportion in relation to architecture. Working only with paper and no adhesives, my original goal was to construct a miniature monument of a human figure that used the golden mean throughout its anatomy. However, this task proved extremely difficult as my sculpture repeatedly fell apart. What I was eventually left with was this aged looking mysterious robed figure that reflected the failures in the process of its creation.
