For the final Me and Sustainability project, I made DIY scarf with the clothes that I want to throw away.
The reason why I thought about this scarf is I always felt bad when I throw clean clothes away because sometimes I can’t find recyle bin for clothes. Also, I wanted to use them for my art project, but I didn’t have a chance to create one because of my major. Luckily, for this project, I finally used these clothes to make scarf, and it was interesting to make totally different product. The materials that I used is old clothes and scissors. For the process, first I cut the bottom part of t-shirt and cut it in same sizes. After that, just pull them to make a round shape. During winter, I oftenly got sick, so I would like to wear them when I go to sleep. It was such a fun project.
