In my final project I chose senses and color, both themes will merge into one single work.
At the MET what impressed me the most was the “Heavenly Bodies ” exhibition, it is a fashion work based on the Catholic Church which I think was a challenge. My favorite pieces were the dresses, the are so perfect and really do represent the whole idea of fashion and church working together.
The pictures show my favorites, everything is so detailed, but yet so simple. the color palette used is very simple, they used light colors, but with strong details. Many jewelry, but the result is great. I love how the colors really stand out, some other piece had black or stronger colors which gave the exhibition another point of view, but I liked how these dresses work together. I also used them as inspiration for my final work to have texture, some of them have a lot of texture and others are just very simple.
