Since January Ivan has traveled to meetings in New Orleans (American Meteorological Society), San Diego (Urban Affairs Association), and San Francisco (Association of American Geographers) to discuss climate dynamics and population health vulnerability in northern Peru. In addition, he was invited to participate in a workshop on Climate Change and Health in the Small Island Developing States, (May 24-25) at University College London.
