Time Composition Memory – Time Map

A sitting female figure made of clay, eggshells, string, and wire. With her hands in her lap and her head down, she is vulnerable to others. Inspired by my relationship with my best friend, Jessie, when she stole my sculptures from an arts event after they decided to take back the clay they let us use. I created two torsos in the event, which is why I placed an emphasis on the statues chest. After this, the two of us became close, opening up to each other. There was a vulnerability to sharing so much about each other, hence the eggshells. We easily bonded over art, reading, and our culture.
