I have known about Juno for a while, but watching was really something. I feel like knowing the plot of things before watching them spoils it but I actually felt connected to this story. I think it’s because my mother was pregnant in high school with me, and we were from a ‘poor area’. Even after I was born, and now, my mother and I always get comments about how young she looks and everything. My mother was also married more than once. Though it felt like a subtle theme and at the same time a prominent theme, love and Juno’s experience/ ideas about love was what really moved me the most. Especially when she sat down with her dad to ask about real love.
