Core 4D Seminar: The Banana Bitches

The air was crisp, the sun was shining and all was right in Paris that fine morning. Visitors ogled at the beautiful sculptures, while even the security guards found themselves staring in awe at the art they protect everyday at the Louvre.

Sensing this peace, the Banana Bitches stirred, mischief in their souls as the little voices insides their heads whispered, “Create mischief, cause a stir, be the trouble!”

The group, self named of course, was a girl gang of tiny bananas that loved to wreak havoc in the heart of France. Although small, just barely the size of a paperclip, they were mighty and bold. Every week they’d commit an act that turned Paris upside down, had officials pulling alarms, citizens locking themselves inside due to fear, and left everyone utterly confused. The yellow fruit group met up just this morning, filled with enthusiasm as their leader discussed what their task was today, shouting out plans and assigning roles.

Today they would be stealing the Mona Lisa from the Louvre. They wouldn’t keep it obviously, as there was no point for a bunch of little bananas to possess such a painting. They were only going to have some fun, take the painting and hide it somewhere else for the officials or museum staff to find. That alone would cause such a disturbance to the peaceful ambiance.

The plan was relatively simple. Get inside, obtain the painting, put it somewhere else, leave no trace and exit. Luckily, their small size came in handy, allowing them to easily roll through the crowds of feet walking through the entrance to get inside. A small group of bananas diverged from the main party in search of the fire alarm they were to set off in order to get all the humans to evacuate. The rest of them waited for their cue to spring into action in the shadows of the museum.

Minutes later, lights flashed and the constant “BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!” was heard over the loud speakers.

“Everyone evacuate calmly and safely, please take the stairs! No pushing or shoving!”

“That’s our cue!” Shouted the Banana Bitch leader as they noticed humans fleeing the halls from every direction.

As the people ran out, the tiny bananas rolled further in, keeping their eyes on the prize: the Mona Lisa. Some climbed up the walls, one group of bananas used tiny knives to break the glass, while other pairs of two were assigned to hold each corner, as the rest stayed on the ground to carve a hole in it so that they could make a quick getaway. Lifting the painting out of the display, they hurriedly dropped through the hole, leaving it propped up against a wall on the other floor in plain sight as they made their stealthy exit. Just for the heck of it, some of the tiny troublemakers left their peels scattered around on the floor, hoping people would slip on them while searching for the priceless work of art.

“This just in, there has been an art hoist at the Louvre today! No one knows how, and the security camera footage did manage to capture the theft, but no suspect can be seen, as if the thief was invisible! The odd part is, there were several tiny banana peels left all over the place, with no finger prints. How funny would it be if it were a tiny banana army or something! Hahaha, but in all seriousness if you have any information on who could have possibly done this, please call the French Police, and now back over to Karen with the weather.”

The Banana Bitches watched the broadcast from a storefront television, high fiving and patting shoulders as they congratulated one another on today’s success.
