Pablo Picasso

Pablo Picasso is the founder of modern art and the main representative of Western modernist painting. Some people said that Picasso is always young because his style had been changed all the time.  Personally, I like his Cubist works very much. Most of the time, he uses semi-realistic and semi-abstract methods to make his works not only show the pictures but also leave the space for viewers to imagine. His works have no sense of space, no realistic description, but only some lines and color blocks constitute the picture. I like it very much. Moreover, his use of colors in his works is also very attractive to me. Strong colours make the picture vivid.

In this project, I learned from the use of lines and shapes in Picasso’s works of art, so I also want to create the structural beauty embodied in Picasso’s works in my own design. The lines in my design are very obvious, especially the skirt part, which is made up of triangles. The waistband design makes the body curve more obvious, which makes the very abstract skirt made up of triangles look more suitable for wearing on people, which reflects Picasso’s abstract and concrete style. At the same time, I want to be in my design.
