  • Interesting podcast content. I like the background sound because it really puts you in the environment. I wonder if you could do more with the transitions because I didn’t know that the first segment was going to end until the sound ended and you guys introduced the new place.

  • I think that the content of your podcast is really interesting, and like Laiqa mentioned, the background sound makes it a very immersive experience for me. However, I feel like the background overtakes your narrative at times and the chaotic nature of the sound quality makes it a bit difficult to understand what you are saying so it might be helpful to play with levels a bit

  • I like the content and the editing and I actually think the background to voice loudness is perfect. I like that you were able to catch snippets of other people’s conversations too. Maybe because it’s just a snippet, but I would like some more insight into each of these places, if its possible to get more info

  • I really like the description of the bars and the way you take the listener there. I think you guys did a good job of managing the background for how loud a bar usually is.

  • I think that the background noise is very helpful to the piece. It really sets the scene, and the quality is high so it sounds intentional and adds a lot. It seems coordinated with how you guys talk to each other and sometimes say things at the same time. It seems very organized.

  • Besides the technical sound issues which you know what they are, the podcast is interesting I would strive to record a soundscape that captures the uniqueness of each place which is a very hard task to do because all most interiors of restaurants have a similar sound. Highlighting certain sounds within the restaurant or recording sound of the streets outside of the restaurant and then combining that with the soundscape interior could help create more distinction. I would also try interview people inside of the restaurant patrons and waiters and people outside of it and interplay that with your observational recording.

  • I find this to be an intrsting approach to public v.s. Privet and like how it plays to the theme of social exclusivity and at the same time inclusion.
