So I changed my idea, I just didn’t feel 100% happy with the idea & I also didn’t think their would be enough time to actually execute it. On break, I was trying to scatter around some ideas in my head, & around the time my mom was helping me bleach my hair. While just having our usual conversations, I took a glance at her head wrap & thought about how when I was a kid I felt embarrassed whenever she came outside with it on. Just recently I started wearing du rags outside of my home as a way of expression. I feel like a lot of the historical garments cultivated by people of color have in a way always have to remain hidden. So for my project, I want to counteract that ideology, I want to photograph 4 people of color in historical garments along with videos where I’ll ask them questions relating to this topic. I’ll present this on a website format with the pictures as they key to the videos  (if you get what I mean).

Sunday 10/2 (Take some photographs/videos of my 2 models)

Tuesday 10/4  – In Class (Work on Website as well as edit photos & videos)

Wednesday 10/5 – Take Pictures of other models/edit them

Thursday 10/6  – In class (Try to finish website, edit other photos)
