Our concept is to basically do a podcast on female rappers (primarily of color). We want to focus on the groundworks & the kind’ve background issues they face that no one really talks about. Which goes into public & private space. Also their platform itself could in many ways be described as public/private which correlates to events & such. As a group we really want to highlight the good, the bad, & the unknown in the hip hop industry.

As a kind’ve break /interlude, we’ll probably highlight some songs & artists to listen to!

If possible, we really want to invite a couple of female rappers to just talk about their experience & how their maneuvered their way through a male dominated industry. We feel like it’s time for female rappers to really be represented in a more positive light just because the media can sometimes portray them as catty. Most of the time they aren’t taking seriously so to do a podcast on them would be really dope!
