The painting, instead of being superficially understood as a sweet and romantic story between the lovers, now will have a deeper and clearer dark story due to the blood I add, also, It can be specifically understood and focused as the sophistication between the lovers. Having the blooding coming out of the kiss instead of other location indicates that the pain is shared and caused by two people, at the same time, a kiss can best symbolize relationship and love.
