I had my peer evaluation of Bridge 2 with Olive and Anjana. It was great because I got to see how my friends actually interpreted the assignment instructions from me differently, but in a good way. It allows me to understand that there are so many endless possibilities in creating a composite character. Olive also pointed out certain parts of my writing as “vague”, which gives me room to improve on. Anjana said that I had good imageries, descriptions, and observations that really allow the reader to get a sense of someone’s personality and character, which was encouraging. They provided me with feedback I never thought about on my own had I not take a step back and read my own writing from a different person’s perspective. We ended off with discussing the different possibilities each of our composite characters could proceed with and it was both a helpful and enlightening experience.
