Digital Collage Brainstorm

Here is a brainstorm version of the theme I was going for in my Digital Collage piece for class. The first picture is the process of the Digital collage.

I, unfortunately, was unable to document my journey in the process of making my short film. I did not record myself editing and creating the piece. However, here is my brainstorm process and the original collage idea for the short film.

The short film was inspired by ad pop ups when I tried watching a movie through an illegal website. I wanted to expand past the visuals and include more senses to make my audience feel more engaged in my piece. I added sounds that correlated with each picture to create an environment that made the audience feel like they were there. I decided to go down a more technological route in my artwork because I wanted to showcase art in a modern way through technology. I used screen recording and clicked on the pictures myself.

They got their interest in photography when their father handed down his film camera and HeeEun wanted to revive the film movement. HeeEun's main focus was to incorporate intersectional feminism into photography because political activism is an essential part of their life and identity. They believe in teaching people about the complexities of political issues by connecting to them on an artistic, creative level.
