I wanted to create a set of photos that would convey the sense of wading in the dark. This experience of mine is like living in a different reality, as I move around in circular motions in the dark in my room in order to avoid tripping over objects. There’s the sense that objects that I normally go for are in random places, which is why I pasted them to random locations in the tub. However, it’s all still posed in the sense that this routine repeats.
In the inquiry journal, I detailed how I was able to achieve the various effects in the photo, including the odd shadows in the two main photos.
