I am so happy that I took this course this semester. Before coming into Parsons, I never had proper training in essential drawing techniques. It is my first time learning about perspective drawing and isometric drawing, both of which are important for my major in Product design next year. I never knew how to draw perspective properly because I was always confused on how to draw objects that look like they are coming directly towards you. Using the makeshift angle finder and practicing with it helped me understand properly the angles and process of drawing this way. Now whenever I try to draw a space or a room, I can see how to draw all the angles properly! I’ve also learnt how to correctly draw circles when doing an isometric drawing, which although doesnt seem a lot, I had no idea how to draw them properly, at all. Overall, I really enjoyed this course and Jose is always super attentive and wonderful to the SCE students!
