Hello! My name is Jib. My full name is Panyapha Leekitwattana (ぱんやぱ りいきっわったな). I’m a sophomore in the Design & Technology (Game Design) Program. I’m from Bangkok, Thailand.
I’m taking this course because I have always been interested in learning Japanese and also learning about Japanese culture (fashion, anime & manga, music, movies, food). Initially, I was also planning to go to Japan with the exchange program, but unfortunately Japan isn’t listed as one of the options for my major. Nonetheless, I’m planning on doing a Language course in Japan some time in the future! Therefore, I feel that this course would be helpful for me. Also, I’ve been to Japan several times and will go again in the near future, so I think knowing Japanese would make the trips even more enjoyable!
On a lighter note, I also want to know Japanese so I can understand Japanses movies, anime and music without subtitles!
