Selfie of Graduation

Selfie is a form of photography, people take photos for themselves. Some people prefer to post these photos on their social media, sharing their feeling with all their friends or follows. Others, like me, don’t usually post things up, still likes to record

some special memories by selfies.
One of my favorite selfie of 2018 was taken in front of the gallery of my high school. I still remember it was a sunny afternoon. The weather is so comfortable. I was in a light pink long dress, that’s my favorite dress, and it was my first time wearing it. The graduation was just finished, After I took care of my parents and sent them back to hotel, My friends and I was on our way to a nice restaurant in town, just like ever normal weekend we did.
In the selfie, I was hold a pack of flower. I actually received three of flowers that day: one is from my art teacher Ms Cross— it was a red rose with leaves on the side. Each of her mentor got one and we all know it is her best wishes for us. Another one with the orange daisy and yellow rose were from my best friend Rena. She was also my roommate, living with me, for two years. The last one was from my parent. It was much more meaningful than just a pack of flowers. They left all the work behind and came all the way from China to US just to congratulate my graduation with me. I know flowers would not stay for long, but in the photo, they always look fresh, colorful and beautiful.
However, a selfie can only shows the beautiful smile on my face. When I looked at all the photos later that day, I have a strong feeling of sadness: it was both the end and the start. I will not be able to take these class again, and the passing time will not coming back. Moreover, I was also confused with my future: I will be a college kid

soon. Can I make new friends? What if the course are difficult? All of my questions will only be answered in September, when my college life get started.
I posted this photo on social media(wechat), too. Many people made sweet comments under my post. Most of them said “ congratulations”. Some of my friends told me they will miss me and visit me in college. My families ask me when I will be back home in China. My teachers asked me which college I got in. Every one says something differently, but I can tell that they all care bout me. Their words encouraged me a lot.
