During the Biofuel cell Lab, I was surprised and disappointed with different parts of the lab. When we started to increase the temperature of the soils, the electricity increased as well. It was fun to watch multimeter showing the increase in number. Also, it was amazing to see how the calculator connected to the system was actually working. I doubted this lab because it didn’t make sense for me to make the calculator work with the electricity coming from this renewable system. Moreover, even though the lab itself went successfully, our group lab experiment didn’t work smoothly as much as the other groups. When we increased the temperature, the electricity decreased, which wasn’t the expectation. I was a little disappointed to see this result. However, looking at the other group’s experiment helped me to understand the lab better. This type of energy generation could be used for other products function process. Since this type of energy generation is direct and natural, it is saving inefficient energy consumption. Also, since it is directly providing energy to the product when it is connected to the system, it would be easy to control when to insert the energy to the product.
