In my film I want to explore the female experience in New York and the themes of isolation, loneliness, and uncomfort. Through interviews and commentary I plan to illustrate to the audience the difficulties woman face in the city. It begins with a monologue that talks about my mother’s garden and then shifts into questions that the people will answer throughout the video. I want to illustrate that even though all of us have such different experiences, we all feel isolation in a city of 8 million people.
