“I’M NOT YOUR DOLL” IS A CONTINUING PROJECT IN WHICH I INTERVIEW REAL PEOPLE ON THEIR IDEAS ON BODY POSITIVITY AND HOW WE CAN MAKE THE FASHION INDUSTRY MORE DIVERSE.
In this project I ask people how we can change the fashion industry. The most important thing to me was not just to photograph models who talk about body positivity, but normal people, becseu when we look at ads of body positive models we are happy that someone is like us, but we still put them in the category of a model. Through these ideas and thoughts expressed by these amazing people I hope you illustrate that the fashion industry is not just the designers and teh models, but all of us. Every single person is part of the industry that promotes a certain beauty standard that is unacceptable ny post. Together I hope to change people’s minds and be happy, finding the love within themselves. We all can help change the fashion world, but we need other people to realise that they are beautiful and are valued more than the idea than a perfect person.
