- little to no pigeons
- maybe has to do with how densely populated the Highline is
- the foliage
- or how small it is
- spotted a pigeon
- it seems to be chased by a larger bird
- the larger bird is maybe 1 1/2 the size of a pigeon or twice the size
- I looked it up and according to the NY Times pigeons are hunted by falcons/penguins who have adapted to city life
- the pigeon and falcon have disappeared.
- I had no idea that pigeons were prey in the city
- for some reason I thought they had a good life
