I find Thierry Mugler to be a pioneer of the ‘futurewear’ movement. Helmut Newton is also one of my favorite photographers. The photos hold power and weight and the women are strong and dominating. It reminds me of the woman I wanted to be when I was young.
as soon as I have a deeper understanding of the construction I would like to follow his same personal style: futurewear.
Calvin Klein in the 90s is one of my favorite periods for any designer. I absolutely love minimal design and simple necklines. I also love Kate Moss.
This time period is another big inspiration in my work. You’ll never catch me wearing jewelry with crystals on it or a patterned shirt. Simplicity is everything to me.
