LP Post #3

My dress practice log allowed me to understand that I have some what of a formula when it comes to getting dressed. I usually wear loose fitting pants, low shoes, and a long sleeve or forms of layering. Most of the clothes I own are made of comfortable materials, have vivid patterns or colors, and are a boxy/ loose fit. I don’t find that I am restricted in my dress, only in days where I am being active (working). I express certain interests through my dress, such as music. I usually wear a piece that is more special than the others or has specialty details. I began to see that since I vintage shop, many of the silhouettes and footwear I wear connect to a sense of time. I began to acknowledge that I find humor in the ways that I dress, alluding to characters or through juxtaposing my character traits. I began to think about my adornment and how that influences my dress, how I find irony in my own tattoos, etc.
