Bridge 5 Reflection Part 1

1. What part of this project are you most proud of? This can be something related to your research, a strategy you used, a system you are commenting on, or your thinking process, or your technique, or your making process… or something else!

I am most proud of the drawings in this project.

2. [Fantasy] If you had all of the time and all of the money, what would you do differently? (About Bridge 5) I would’ve created a better cartoon with better materials.

3. [Reality] If you could rewind time for one month, what would you have done differently between Spring Break and now? (About Bridge 5)I would’ve not gotten into a car accident.

4. Below you will see several different Process Models. Each one is visualized in a simple way – but even though they are simple they are meaningful and they hold many different approaches.

Ask – create a mental request or aesthetic process Try – Perform it Do – Implement it further Reflect – fuel future decisions in markmaking

Please review each of these. If you want to know more information about them there are short explanations here: http://dstudio.ubc.ca/research/toolkit/processes/

All of the images below and their names are also in a file here: Process Models.pdf

If you would like to know more information about any of them, please Google their names.

Once you look at each of these models, please think about your own making process for Bridge 5. Maybe your process is very similar to one of these models. Maybe your process is not represented at all.

Please map your process to one of these models – OR design a visual representation of YOUR OWN to show your creative process.

(You may want to start with choosing your topic/ thesis and also include Bridge 3 in your process model, but you don’t have to.)

This post should be titled: “Bridge 5 Reflection and Process Model – May 2020”

And you should include your Process Model Visual as your Featured Image.
