Profile and Intra-view booklets that each have eight coordinated and illustrated pages. Profile is all about my partner, Angelina whereas Intra-view booklet is a combination of both of us. These two booklets have been created based on the connection between Studio and the Seminar Bridge assignments.

I picture my book basically as a reflection of my communication skills and the way I get to know people. Do I just focus on what’s on the surface or do I like to go beneath the surface to try to get a taste of what they are experiencing? How is the world spinning for them? How does the river of their soul run through their body?

As for the second leg of our project,
I completed a Profile book that is only about Angelina, my partner. It was such a great coincidence that the number of pages that were required matched the number of hair colours Angelina has dyed her hair. I had the sense that with every color that she tried; she stepped on a new adventure to discover her self. Starting with red, blue, green, yellow, pink, purple, brown and ending with a couple of blonde shades for now:)
For the design of this book I decided to use foam core and make it in an accordion shape. Stepping away from my comfort-zone and trying something new.
The first thing that comes to my mind when I look back at the two books I have created is, always being open and excepting whatever comes. Trying to keep our own thoughts and ideas about a person away from them and give some space to the person to express themselves as who they are.
