Yep, those are the words that came out from my proffesor Margaret’s mouth on a Friday drawing class last week. Just switching up the gears by mixing the senses and how we respond to them really broadened my perspective on how I observe and reflect things that surround me.
When I starting to just listen and try to document a media that is not visible but somehow appears as a visual piece in my mind, I realised how much is going on around me. A man opening up his backpack’s zipper, the dragging of a chair for the lady to sit on, a crumbly brown lunch bag that belonged to a little girl.
So, Much. Going. On!
So take my love of cooking and baking in to consideration when viewing this work of mine. You can clearly see the direction of my attention.
