Streetwise was a really interesting documentary in terms of gaining trust in order to record the footage that the film makers got. The relationship between the film maker and the children was really strong in the sense of how close the film makers were able to get and the information that the children shared with these strangers. Although it was a documentary and in parts there was voices speaking i got the sense that i was watching the children and there lives on the streets instead of them telling there story. The way the film maker has filmed and there angels used, the viewer gains a very different perspective of there lives and makes the viewer see the subject in a different way.

What I’ve learnt from this film is how it’s possible to gain trust in people and make them feel so comfortable that when sharing there personal life with a film maker they feel very comfortable and want to share there life with the film maker.
