My teammate and I did research on existing umbrella drying tools and redesigned the best one out of all. Our goal is to reduce the down effects of wet umbrellas, to replace the unsustainable umbrella dryers on market with greener, more efficient and visually more pleasing product.
Problem Statement
On rainy days, there are millions of wet umbrellas that may wet the floors, causing uncomfortable, unaesthetic, and danger in public. Most of the building entrances will provide plastic umbrella sleeves for people to use but they are extremely unsustainable.
Audience
We will focus on department stores/malls and museums since they have great number of daily visitors.
Project Description
Below are our potential solutions to our problems. We brainstormed and
analyzed both methods to see which one is the most effective and sustainable. After
so we will pick the better option for further experiment and development.
