Working alone is important when working on such a personal piece. I think it would have taken away from this project if I worked with a partner. This project was based entirely on memory, as it was a short story based on a moment/place/thing from our past. I chose my grandmother’s old house in Virginia because I have a strong connection with the items inside and around it.
