I chose “The object of Risk – A Prelude” installation by Helene Kazan because of it’s immersive nature.
The installation occupies 6ft by 4ft crushed glass filled space in the middle of the room, which framed by 4 speakers in each corner of that space hang from the ceiling. By standing in the middle of that space surrounded by speakers producing audio recorded by the artist during staging an experiment on testing Morrison shelter for its effectiveness.
