Dodecahedron

I wrapped the string around the dodecahedron as a way of providing structure by holding the pieces of paper together, and I used the string to add an artistic element that sustained the feeling of cohesiveness by being all throughout the structure. I inlaid clear paper into the empty spaces pentagonal spaces created and then painted designs on top so that the “screen” aspect of the form wheel would be represented. The spaces are meant to be looked through; looking through one will reveal the design across from it, which I believe created an interesting and interactive experience. I chose the colors red and green because I consider them to contrast and complement each other.
