Takashi Murakami- Bold Color

I recently visited the MFA museum in Boston and was drawn to the Takashi Murakami exhibit showing modern Japanese pop art. The Kawaii-Vacances exhibit really caught my eye because of the bold colors. The style of the Japanese anime-type illustrations showing flowers was extremely interesting especially because it was not only a 2D design on the wall, the floor and the lightning fixtures were also part of the collection, taking on the same floral pattern and style. I loved exploring more of the artists’ work and collections because of the unique and bold style.
