What is SHIFT?

What do you think SHIFT means?

Shift means when something or someone moves, changes, transitions, or evolves. The idea of Shift is significant to my studies at Parsons because everything is going though a huge transition. I shifted from Denver, Colorado to New York, high school to college and changed from having my own bedroom to having a dorm with someone else. Shift can be positive and negative thought out my studies at Parsons. Positively, by my mind evolving with knowledge of art and design and negatively when my emotions start to transition when I miss back home.

Shift is significant in the greater community because without shifting we wouldn’t be evolving as a generation with fashion, cultures, people, cars, building, or dancing. If shift didn’t happen though time we’d all be in same place, everyone would be the same and do the same things. Evaluation as a generation has brought us to greater things. It has made people more open minded and brighter to continue to shift. Some people in earlier generations don’t like much of the new shifting going on, for example a iPhone. People can learn to adapt to the new transitions and changes. Shifting in the greater community will just bring us up.
