I chose to depict a city underwater and a city above, before the sea levels rise. The city under the sea could both be past or present as it is inspired by Atlantis. The illustrator side is made of suns and the hand-drawn side is cross-hatched. Both marks are opposite of what they depict — suns warming the Earth and therefore melting the ice, flooding the cities as well as cross-hatching being similar to the stiffness of the buildings opposite of the flow of water.
