We were instructed to take a walk around the city, take photographs of textures, scan them into Photoshop, and choose a monochromatic scale. I chose to depict part of Memorial Park from home, with trash textures around New York to make something beautiful out of something ugly. I chose the green color because it was both evergreen like nature but also a disgusting green.
