Overview: By utilizing research on an assigned venue, (mine is Jacob’s Pickles) you will combine 4-6 pieces of relative imagery and typography from your location (venue, street and neighborhood) and design custom matchbooks/matchboxes. You must visit your assigned venue and collect imagery (not of the venue’s logo).
Week 1-2: Choose 4-6 images out of 12 or more from your venue and related imagery, graphics and typography. Create 4 conceptual directions, each using all the chosen images. These should include the venue name, address, phone number and website. The class will select 2 for further revision.
