Research Methodology 1

I started my Research through literature and images, but have focused on gathering my own primary research in the form of informal interviews. I have started by asking a simple question to people I know of all sizes and recording their responses anonymously. Bwloe is the question and some highlights of the responses I have received

Interview Responses:

(What is the hardest thing for you when you are shopping)

Because of my constant struggle to dress for my (ever-evolving) gender identity, I often find myself in the women’s section not able to find what I want because I am holding myself accountable to terms that would apply to a typically female-bodied person

I would say probably finding things that fit my body type appropriately since I have big ass boobs lots of things either make me look bigger than I am or are too revealing

I normally have issues with finding things that fit in the sense that most things are too long on me and I’m normally between sizes

I find it extremely difficult to find both styles I like, and a flattering fit for my middle aged body, all in one article of clothing, especially in a city that is fairly limited to the typical national chain/mall stores.

Not being able to find the items that I want in my price range and not being able to find quality items in lower price ranges.
