I came across this artist after remembering an installation I had saw at the Whitney Museum in 2016. This was a piece I could never forget because it was full of life and meaning. Urs Fischer is a Swiss artist that explores mostly sculpting, painting, photography, and installations. Fischer’s utilizes scale, material, and juxtaposition of common object resulting in work that is illusional and satirical. While studying senses and memory in class, Fischer was an interesting to research because his work deals with shaping someone’s perception of an idea.
