During our meeting, we discussed and developed plot and character roles. We each threw ideas on the table and as we talked we took parts from each of our ideas and developed on email idea. Basically what we came up with is that Glean and Mia are roommates together at Parsons in New York and they decode to collaborate on a film project. They look up to Ivan and need his influence – they send him letters – harass him. Eventually he answers them with a letter, agreeing, but only if they help him solve the mystery of the machines. He requests to meet at grand central.
As for structure, we concluded that the story will be divided into several Parts, written from different perspectives, including four visuals that each member will create. We plan on meeting Sunday, each bringing a rough draft of a specific part in the story. We will roughly edit and merge the drafts into one piece and by the end of next class, we will have our first draft completed.
