“STENSELL”
StenSell is the name of the website that I created. The idea of the website is to buy and sell stencils online. In fact, all the stencils on the website are ones that I made and then displayed on the walls of Paris.
The idea behind the stencils is to encourage female artists to contribute in the graffiti community. Since the number of female graffiti artists is far less than male graffiti artists, I decided to spread the message around Paris to make people aware of the gap.
The reason behind this gap is that women face a lot of struggles at night alongside the risk of making graffiti. Hence, I decided to illustrate the challenges in each stencil.
PROCESS:

FINAL RESULTS:
The stencils would be sold on the website, so that the messages that I’m trying to spread could be heard globally. Anyone from any country around the world can visit the website, buy a stencil and help spread the message, so that it is not only in Paris.
Graffiti is a way of communicating locally and the internet is a way to communicate and interact globally. Both platforms would help encourage women to create graffiti, and that is the intention of my project.
