For my prototype, I created a digital collage of faces to roughly make up the face of the people I want to illustrate. I used 4 images in this prototype of some of the people that resemble the person I had in memory. This first-person was a homeless woman that used to live outside of my apartment two years ago. She would always greet anyone passing by, always had her earphones, and wore bright colors and makeup. So, I wanted to capture her personality in this digital illustration/collage.
Faces I used for the collage:
-Frida Kahlo
-Salma Hayek
-Old teacher of mine from highschool
-Other faces
The combination of all of these faces was the closest thing to the face I had in memory.
FEEDBACK:
-continue with collage rather tyan painting.
-add a map of Paris in the background and add each face to their location of residency.
-simple map, maybe black or one color per person.
If I would add the maps behind each person, I was thinking of adding them all onto a website with each of their addresses so people can go meet these people.
