Idea 1:
I really wanted to go further with my Romainville place study. So for my first idea, I want to create more posters that each communicate a different aspect of the Romainvillle area. I would like to print them on Riso and hang them on the exhibition walls. I also really liked Aditi’s place study of a café because I think cafés are very important in Parisian life and essentially it is where people gather and join each other in a single place. I feel like cafés have their own communities. So if Aditi is going to create a “mini café” inside of the exhibition space, I think the posters could work very well on the wall as part of the café.

Idea 2:
When we were talking about our ideas last time at the round table, Yvonne was probably the only one who also wanted to work with the diversity of culture and people in Romainville. So we both thought we could collaborate on that. She said that she wanted to conduct an interview with the people of Roaminville. I want to create something with the interview material she will gather next week and then make an illustration or video/video illustration based on the answers people give. Finally, we could have the interview playing as a voiceover to my video or illustration. I think hearing firsthand what people have to say accompanied by visuals will add important insight to the exhibition.
