For this assignment, we were given the task of displaying old objects and the new in the same environment. The first task was to visit the Metropolitan Museum of Art, there I found interest in Etruscan, Polynesian, and Greek bowls. They had beautiful detail and material, the colors of copper and dyed clay create a strong earth connection.
For the space of interaction, I decided upon the Thanksgiving feast, not only because this time was right around the corner, but it is also a blending of the old and the new in terms of tradition and custom. Using blended color I bonded together with the objects in space, and with the meal centered it in time.
